The Dutch National Opera has opened its 2014-2015 season with an absolute first: the scenic world première of Arnold Schönberg’s Gurre-Lieder. Marc Albrecht, chief conductor of the Dutch National Opera, and opera director Pierre Audi as stage director have combined their talents for the first time in this well received production.

Currently the Arnold Schönberg Center is hosting an exhibition on Arnold Schönberg in the Netherlands and Gurre-Lieder at the foyer of the opera.
