Tom Service and Gillian Moore of the Guardian write about about the post-war world weekend (5–6 October) of the Southbank Centre’s the Rest is Noise festival. Among the pieces performed will be Stockhausen’s Gruppen and Boulez’ Le marteau sans maître.
