UE at the Proms

The BBC have recently revealed the programme for the 2014 BBC Proms season, which runs from 18 July to 13 September. We are very proud to see that 15 works from the UE catalogue have found their way into the programme. The full details of the season are available on the website of the BBC Proms 2014. The booking opens on 17 May.

All concerts will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3.

UE at the BBC Proms 2012

BBC Proms 2012

The BBC has launched its programme for the 2012 Proms.

The music of Pierre Boulez is featured in a number of concerts, including Dérive 2, Messagesquisse, Anthèmes 2, and Le Marteau sans maître. Daniel Barenboim and Boulez himself conduct.

Schönberg’s Gurrelieder are conducted by Jiří Bělohlávek, with Angela Denoke and Simon O’Neill as the main soloists.

Look out also for Alban Berg’s Violin Concerto and Luciano Berio’s Sequenza V for trombone.

UE at the BBC Proms 2011

BBC PromsThe BBC has just released the programme for the Proms 2011 Festival, and once again there’s lots of UE to be seen and heard.

We’re there already at the First Night of the Proms on 15 July with Janáček’s Glagolitic Mass, right through to the Last Night of the Proms on 10 September, with Bartók’s Miraculous Mandarin.
